Over 40% of our energy needs are met with renewable sources. Our solar array produces enough kWh savings to offset EPA emissions comparable to the annual energy use of 254 homes or burning more than 2.2 million pounds of coal.

For the last 41 years, our facilities produce over 5,000 dry tons of Class A biosolids per year. These treated solids are land applied to local agricultural fields as a soil amendment/fertilizer. This avoids the disposal of biosolids in landfills and offers a natural alternative to landowners and our local agricultural industry.

LRWRA adopted the use of various smart sewer technologies to enhance the efficiency, information access, and automation of daily system operations. Community Champions: We build community partnerships and provide public outreach regarding our “One Water. One Future.” commitment.
