PUBLIC PERCEPTION
OF WATER REUSE
The focus of this project with the Clinton School of Public Service was to assess public opinion and awareness regarding the reuse of appropriately treated wastewater for non-potable purposes in Little Rock. Non-potable use could include irrigation and use in cooling towers. The graduate students conducted stakeholder focus groups and surveys across the city and gathered insights on community attitudes, knowledge, and concerns about water reuse and a general understanding of the local wastewater utility. The project began in August 2025 and continued through April 2026. The research was conducted by Luke S. Antesberger, Hunter J. Moffett, Grace E. Maddox, and Abbie L. Asher.
